Past event: CEO Summit

The annual opportunity for member CEOs to come together in person to discuss the strategic issues faced running a medical research charity in 2023. What does it mean to be a future focused charity in 2023? What are the issues a next generation charity needs to consider?

We were joined by AMRC charity CEOs for discussion, networking opportunities and a dive into the tough issues being grappled with such as EDI, organisational culture and environmental sustainability. We highlighted some truly inspirational partnerships with the potential to accelerate the research those affected by conditions want and need.

The summit provided an opportunity to gain insights from leaders in the field and consider future challenges and opportunities within the sector. We were delighted to be welcoming some great speakers, including Chris Wigley, CEO of Genomics England, Simon Denegri, CEO of Academy of Medical Sciences (AMS), Helen Buckingham, Chair of National Voices, and Melanie Lee, CEO of LifeArc.
