• 85: Number of AMRC member charities who stated that they fund translational research in the AMRC annual data collection of 2024.
• £2 billion: The combined life-time value of grants awarded by AMRC charities that were coded as important for translational research in the UK Health Research Analysis 2022. Specifically, these are grants that were coded for HCRS Research Activity Group 4 Detection, screening and diagnosis; Group 5 Development of treatments and therapeutic interventions or Group 6 Evaluation of treatments and therapeutic interventions. 
• 33%: AMRC member charities awarded a third of the total annual value of all the grants in the UK Health Research Analysis 2022 that were coded for either HCRS Research Activity groups 4, 5 or 6.
• 46%: AMRC member charities awarded 46% of the total annual value of all the grants in the UK Health Research Analysis 2022 that were coded for HCRS Research Activity group 4 Detection, screening and diagnosis.
