AMRC has today signed a joint letter, alongside nearly 40 other organisations, urging Chancellor Rachel Reeves to protect funding for R&D in the Budget on 30 October.

Any cuts to that investment would risk the future of the sector, and make it much harder for the Government to achieve its missions and ambitions.

Despite financial challenges, there is a risk that short-term thinking now could damage long-term growth.  

This is an issue that we know matters not only to the organisations that signed this letter, but to our membership.
