We’re pleased to announce that the theme for the Aisling Burnand Award 2024 is advocacy. In this election year, AMRC member charities are invited to submit their best examples of advocacy outputs, to win £150 of training or equipment to help in future campaigns, as well as £50 worth of food/drink to celebrate your win with your team.

This could include a manifesto, briefing document, parliamentary event, campaign or beyond. We want to hear about examples of things that you’ve produced to make your voice heard and engage parliamentarians and policymakers.

The Aisling Burnand Award, launched last year, is in honour of our previous CEO, who passed away in 2022. Aisling left money to AMRC and, as members were always her priority, we want to honour her by using this in a way we know she'd approve of - to celebrate our members.

The award will run for five years (2023-2027), each year focusing on a priority area for AMRC. In 2023, following our Festival of Partnerships, we launched a call to AMRC members for submissions of short videos that celebrated charity collaborations.

For more information, including how to enter (deadline 15 November 2024) and details of last year’s winners, visit our Aisling Burnand Award webpage. We'll announce the winners at our Annual General Meeting, taking place online on 5 December 2024.
