This is defined as research focused on turning discoveries into practical applications. 97: AMRC members fund Clinical research. This is defined as research that is focused on improving health and care, often happens within the NHS, and may be a clinical trial. 38: AMRC members fund Accelerating access. This is defined as streamlining the adoption of new innovations. In short, grants active in 2022 were coded for HRCS Health Categories. Each grant was then given an annualised value corresponding to its duration in 2022.
